Fuel Cell and How It Works?

Fuel Cell vehicle(when considered only the vehicle) has become the most greenest vehicle in the world today due to none pollution and the none exhausting gases like Carbon base, it exhausts only pure water. Among the fuel cell Cars the Hydrogen related car are the most popular once by today.

Fuel cell is a Cell that is producing electric current because of the chemical reaction. That is a simple definition. But fuel cell has a more complex process to produce electricity. On the other way, this fuel is converting the chemical energy of the fuel in to electrical energy. Therefore we call these a electrochemical cells. This process can be done as long as the oxygen is supplied. Now we can do a discuss with this Picture 01 given below.

Fuel cell is a continuous battery. As I told you the energy is generated as long as the fuel and oxygen is supplied, in the most of cases the Hydrogen will be used as the fuel. The chemical reaction which is done in this is between the Hydrogen gas and the Oxygen.

How It Works?

Fuel cell consists with Anode, Cathode , Catalyst and an Electrolyte. This Catalyst stimulate the hydrogen broken into hydrogen ions which are called as Protons and Electrons. In this case these Protons are moving(flow) through the electrolyte from Cathode to Anode and the same time the Electrons are flowing from Anode to Cathode through an external circuit with producing a electric current flow.At the Cathode another electrolyte causes hydrogen ion, electron and oxygen to combine and to form water molecules. Therefore there are various types of fuel cells can be seen due to vary of the electrolyte and other material used.

Types Of Fuel Cells........

  1. Polymer Electrolyte Membrane/ Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM)
  2. Alkaline Fuel Cell
  3. Direct Methanol Fuel Cell
  4. Phosphoric Acid Fuel Cell
  5. Solid Oxide Fuel Cell
  6. Molten Carbonate Fuel Cell
  7. Reversible Fuel Cell
First type of cell is the most commonly used Fuel cell in the world, this kind of fuel cells are used mostly for the transport applications. This works at lower temperature almost 50 to 100 degrees Celsius. The voltage of an individual fuel cell is about 0.7 Volts. Fuel cell efficiency is about 40-60% . Science the hydrogen is abundant in the nature, therefore this a better economic solution for the energy.😲 Alkaline fuel cells are used to produce power for Space Shuttles.

Fuel cells are Used for by now.....

  • Residential buildings
  • Commercial purposes
  • Vehicles
  • Industrial
  • Remote locations
These are used as the primary and backup storages of above mentions. The fuel cell is a totally green and none polluting stuff. it is exhausted only pure water nothing else. Therefore the world is looking for this solution more and more, But the only practically matter of this process is the separating Hydrogen gas from the air, and also it is an expensive task.
Find out how many cells are used in a single fuel cell vehicle?..😃😃.

Lets check some future of the fuel cell vehicles, as you know the most popular electric type vehicles are in the world is Nissan leaf , Tesla etc. but how about these future. Producing Fuel cell is a high cost method and it cannot be afford some times, related to it the normal batteries which are used in the electric cars called lithium-ion batteries are more cheaper than fuel cells. but the matter is about the capacity, it is not enough. The Toyota company has found a solution for this and they build a new car ask price is about $69,000 and its a good average price for a fuel cell vehicle. Obviously these FCV will win the future, because the limitation of the fossil fuel, and the pollution of the environmental due to carbon exhausted vehicles. By today most countries are inspiring people to buy electric vehicles and some times the government will give allowance and subsidies for these Green Vehicles and future FCV can be seen due to this point. By today also some companies are invented car models that are used Fuel Cells such as Toyota, Honda etc.

Atmosphere Escape

How we can do save our planet, Have you an idea about it? Do you know in each second that we have passed, yeah at the moment... we loss our atmosphere, it is known as atmosphere escaping. What is the Atmosphere escape,  it is about the gases that are containing in our atmosphere are escaping in to the space. As an instance the current rate of the loss is about 3 KG of hydrogen and 50 g of helium per second. Is this a big amount? Not only gases the matter is also escaping, it is a kind of leaking in to the space our atmosphere.! The majorly, there are  two questions are generated because of this escaping How and Why it escapes to the space ? What are the reasons that are caused to this task ? Our planet (Earth) has an atmosphere which weighs of at around five quadrillion (5 × 1015) tonnes. But it is leaking today. Given the expanse of out atmosphere 90 tonnes per day to a small leak. luckily it is very small leaking, If not like that?..... As we told above...

Pottery Industry in Packaging

Pottery is the process of producing materials or the products by using of clay, ceramic like materials. The main purpose of using these materials for Packaging is because the durable and the hardness. and also the materials like ceramic are formed form natural stuff such as clay quartz and kaolin. Therefore we can consider this as an Eco-Friendly method of packaging. (But when if it is used high heating technologies and additional toxic compounds to the clay it doesn't seem Eco friendly.) Ceramic materials are also included alumina, boron nitride , silicon nitride , and silicon carbide and also they fully vacuum materials if they are fully dense. The major draw back of the ceramic is more expensiveness of forming large shapes while packaging. And also there are micro cracks can be seen on the surface of the ceramics and therefore these micro cracks reduce the strength of the Ceramic material. This is caused to contaminate the surface of the ceramic and inside too. When we are...
